By Now You Should Know. Patho!!!

I remember the time when a friend of mine shared about her former classmate who told everyone in class that they had three big swimming pools and one of them was shaped into her name. I wish I knew the name so I would know how many letters there were that made the pool up. But that wouldn't be just three swimming pools, would it? Jeez, if this ain't a lie, then I dunno what chicken is. Speaking of which, I just ate one. LOL.

Reading through stuff on some random sites earlier, I came across another article. It says here that it isn't even an official clinical diagnosis. Does this mean there isn't any cure to this at all? Wooooh scary.

Okay, this one is no longer random. I deliberately searched for it on Google, typed in the words PATHOLOGICAL LIAR. I kinda like what's being described, or should I say advised, by the author in this article. She is just a regular person (just like you and me) and she talks about a patho (By the way, we call them pathos, okay?) friend who suffers from the condition. Here are some observations she shared that might be helpful to us get to know pathos better and distinguish them from normal people:

* They, meaning true pathos, change their story all the time.
* They will exaggerate and lie about everything, the smallest and easiest things to tell the truth about and the big serious things.
* What ever you do, they can do it better.
* They often don't value the truth, and can often live in their own type of reality.
* They will act defensively when questioned or challenged, they see their lies as not hurting anyone.
* They lie for sympathy or to seem better.
* They usually never own up to the lies.
* They contradict what they say, they lose track of the many lies told.
* They lie because they are insecure.

Insecure. Hmmm. I feel really bad for those honest people who get to be with pathos everyday. Do they even know their friends are already lying to them? Poor friends. They're being deceived and they're not aware. Boohoo.
